Family reunion visa
To apply for a visa type “C” (for the purpose of visiting family) is available for:
• family members (as defined Directive 2004/38/EC*) of persons specified in paragraph h of Art. 4 p. 1 of the Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers of Italy from August 7, 2020:
- spouses,
- partner to whom the citizen of EU got married in accordance with legislation of host state,
- ascendants at expense and these ones of spouses and partners,
- descendants under 21 years or descendants at expense and these ones of spouses and partners.
